For many of us Woodlawn Cemetery is a special place. Founded in 1864 following the design concepts of "Landscape Gardening,” the Cemetery's rolling hills, woodlands, flowing stream, and graceful trees have offered calm and peace to many of us during times of grief as well as times when we sought a haven for quiet reflection.

Today, Woodlawn faces unprecedented financial challenges. Fewer burials nationwide have significantly reduced our primary source of income, while inflation has driven up the costs of essential maintenance—mowing the lawns, pruning trees, and preserving historic tombstones. Without your help, we cannot sustain the beauty and tranquility that make Woodlawn so your gift of $500, or any amount you can give, will make a meaningful difference in meeting our expenses this year.
