About Crawford Gives!

Crawford Gives is a program of the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation

The 2023 edition of Crawford Gives day will take place over seventy-two hours from Sunday, August 27 through midnight on Tuesday, August 29. This special fundraising event, primarily driven by digital media, allows generous people and businesses the opportunity to support nonprofit organizations that are helping meet the needs of our community.

Crawford Gives provides a platform for participating nonprofits to share their stories, connect with new donors and become more skillful in digital fundraising. This knowledge helps build organizational capacity, develops stewardship and grows their donor base.

Crawford Gives is a gateway for people to connect to causes doing good work in areas they care passionately about.

Donors can select multiple nonprofits to give to within the same transaction, and also allocate different amounts to each nonprofit selected. Gifts received through Crawford Gives are fully tax deductible donations under applicable federal and state laws.

Similar to giving campaigns in larger markets like Erie and Pittsburgh donations will be prorated so the giving goes even further. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Armstrong, and Palmiero Toyota, all gifts received through Crawford Gives  will have additional prorated amounts combined with the donation to make the impact of the donation even larger.

Giving with a credit card? Gifts can be made online with your credit card between 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 27 and 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

Giving with a check? Prepare and submit a copy of our Check Contribution Form with your gift no later than August 28! We can't guarantee that checks arriving later than Tuesday, August 29 will be included in our fundraising totals or receive a match. Gifts can be dropped off at our office 415 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

How can my organization participate? Interested 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations must register to participate by completing a Memorandum of Understanding that sets forth the services and duties expected from the collaborative.
