Titusville Area Food Bank

Goal: $10,000.00

Specific Need

Our food bank is growing to meet the needs of our community, and with that growth comes essential upkeep. Our building requires several important repairs to remain a safe, functional space for food storage and distribution. In addition, our delivery vehicle is due for inspection and significant maintenance so we can continue transporting food reliably. Because we purchase all of our food with donated funds, support in these areas helps ensure that more of every dollar can go directly toward feeding local families.

Mission

Our mission is to provide confidential, compassionate, and free food assistance to individuals and families in need.

Profile

The Titusville Area Food Bank is a fully volunteer-run organization — we have no paid staff. Every person who helps serve our neighbors does so out of generosity and a desire to strengthen our community. We encourage anyone who wants to make a positive impact to join us.

Our work is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who meet monthly to review operations, set goals, and ensure we continue providing reliable support to families in need.

We offer several programs to help fight hunger in our community:

  • Monthly food boxes, proportionate to household size

  • Up to four emergency food boxes per year for families facing unexpected hardship

  • Monthly home delivery for individuals and families who are unable to pick up food in person - due to disabilities/illnesses

These services are provided confidentially and free of charge, thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers who make our mission possible.
