Specific Need

Our fantastic collection of regularly updated books, DVD's, magazines, and more is housed in our gorgoues historic building. However, our building is in need of some maintenance and we have a very specific project need. Our library was last renovated in 1994 when the old Springboro Hardware store was converted into a welcoming public library. Since then, we have experienced much wear and tear on our front facade. Wood rot, flaking paint, and worn awnings are spoiling the once beauty of our historic building. We also offer exterior internet access and a place to rest under our awnings. However, our metal benches have rusted away at the legs and become unsafe. Please help us update the exterior of our building with new benches, hanging our new sign, replacing the worn awnings, structural repairs, and of course a fresh coat of paint. The estimated cost of this whole project is roughly $10,000. Any amount over this will help us continue to provide community services, such as circulating books and family programming. We need your help to ensure that our library looks as welcoming as the day we opened! We are full of hope and look forward to watching our generous community poor into our library!
