Cambridge Revitalization Economic and Tourism Expansion (CREATE)

Specific Need

Thank you very much for the $3,616 in donations to CREATE in Crawford Gives 2025. This year, we would appreciate your donations toward Phase 3 of our new Recreation Park, a new concession stand with ADA restrooms. Because the old concession stand was in the flood plain, the cost to elevate the new one next to Snow Alley with further extensive ADA access has doubled the cost to $633,000. ( see the attached site drawing and budget). An approved grant from DCNR will match & double your donation. $10 becomes $20, $20 becomes $40, $100 becomes $200, etc. All donations are tax-deductible. To date over $500,000 has been raised, with a new playground installed last fall and a full size basketball court and two pickle ball courts are scheduled to be installed this summer or early fall. Profile

With the goal of envisioning a brighter Cambridge Springs for current and future generations, the vision of CREATE is to be both a fundraising and philanthropic entity that supports and encourages revitalization initiatives in the Cambridge Springs area. The primary areas of focus for CREATE will be to support new commercial development, community beautification and recreation, historical preservation, and advancement of the arts. CREATE will also seek to highlight and utilize the French Creek Waterway in its revitalization efforts. CREATE's overall goal is to help make the Cambridge Springs area a place that residents and businesses can be proud to be a part of and that visitors will want to return to.
