Specific Need

All God's Children Ministries (AGCM) receives calls almost every day from someone in need of a ramp. They are often unable to afford the cost of the ramp and turn to AGCM for a solution. Ramps vary in size and, therefore, cost. Many variables determine the cost of materials. These variables include: the transitions from the home to the ramp, the height of the ramp, the length of the ramp, the terrain over which the ramp is built. A small ramp (3-5 pieces) costs on average $653. A medium ramp (6-8 pieces) costs on average $1227. A large ramp (more than 8 pieces) costs on average $1959. Every ramp is built by volunteers who donate thousands of hours each year. When the ramp is no longer needed, we reclaim it to recycle into a future ramp build.

Mission

All God’s Children Ministries (AGCM) was founded in 2010 by the Rev. Debbie Hills to equip and empower Christians to be in ministry with those affected by disability.

Profile

All God’s Children Ministries (AGCM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with disabilities. Ramps of Hope is our major program. Our mission is to provide assistance to those living with a disability. Our Ramps of Hope volunteers have built 144 home access ramps for people with disablilities in Crawford County. These ramps provide safe access into and out of their homes. Our ramps meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) specifications and building regulations, and are offered at no cost to the recipients.

Each ramp recipient must have a medical professional refer them to us before any site evaluation or ramp plan is created. This medical professional identifies the person's diagnosis to confirm the need.

Through your gift recipients acquire the ability to participate in the community, as they wish. They are no longer confined to their home. A Ramp of Hope may help them to attend family gatherings, attend church, make it to a doctor’s appointment, receive a life-saving medical treatment, go home from the hospital or rehabilitation facility, see their child or grandchild be married, or simply go outside to enjoy our beautiful Erie area weather!

We receive requests almost every day from people in need, who hope that All God's Children will be their solution. But that solution depends on donations from individuals, grants, churches, organizations and businesses to assist us each year. Your donation through Crawford Gives will help us meet the needs of those 16 individuals as we continue to serve the people of Crawford County through the Ramps of Hope program.
