Specific Need

NPRC focuses on keeping courses affordable, though many students still find it difficult to participate in post-secondary education. Funds raised through our participation may be used in multiple ways to support our mission of affordability and accessibility for our students. We seek to provide students with opportunity through full or partial scholarships to enroll in our college, which include WFD scholarships, Academic scholarships, and Dual Enrollment scholarships. We also offer Textbook, Medical, Early Childhood Education, STEM, and General scholarships, and access to a Student Emergency Fund. Please consider supporting NPRC to help us continue meeting the needs of our students.

IDENTITY STATEMENT  
Northern Pennsylvania Regional College provides highly accessible, low-cost, post-secondary education and workforce development training to the residents of northern Pennsylvania. 

We enhance regional economic growth and civic development by meeting employers’ needs for skilled workers.  By doing so, we create greater opportunities and the career and educational pathways that will help retain and attract residents to our region. 

We engage high school students holding diplomas or GED’s, college non-completers, returning adults, first-generation students, dual enrollment, and new students. 

We bring classrooms to communities by providing a flexible, career-focused curriculum and quality instruction through the use of interactive media.  We offer associate degrees, certificate programs, short-term classes, workshops and seminars, and customized training. 

Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) has been officially accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) as of March 12, 2026, affirming NPRC’s commitment to educational excellence, integrity, and transformative student outcomes. The announcement follows a comprehensive multi-year process.  We are high quality, easily accessible, student-centered, and responsive to existing or emerging community needs.
