Specific Need

French Creek Valley Conservancy is working to raise funds to provide additional education and outreach programming for the public. We want to have more opportunities to connect with people throughout the watershed and show them the incredible biodiversity and natural values of the French Creek watershed.

Mission

To protect and promote the French Creek Watershed for the aesthetic, ecological, recreational, and economic benefit of all through land protection, stewardship, and education.

Profile

Our vision is to maintain a clean and healthy French Creek watershed appreciated and protected by its residents, partners, and neighbors. French Creek was voted Pennsylvania's 2022 River of the Year, demonstrating the regional love and pride for our beautiful watershed. In addition to our land protection, stewardship, and outreach programs, FCVC manages French Creek as an official Pennsylvania Water Trail, and we work to provide access and information so that all can enjoy conservation-focused water recreation.
