Mission
The Mission of the Meadville Area Free Clinic is to provide free healthcare services to uninsured individuals through the help of dedicated volunteers, donors and community partners.
Profile
Meadville Area Free Clinic offer services free of charge to those who do not have health insurance, Medicare, Medical Assistance or Veterans Benefits.
Persons with chronic problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma can receive care and monitoring by the clinic.
The clinic is staffed by an Executive Clinical Director, Office Coordinator, volunteer doctors and nurses. All professional staff are licensed or certified in their fields.
Some prescriptions are available free to patients who qualify through our partnerships.
If needed medical services cannot be provided by the clinic, referrals are made to specialists.
Through the hard work of dedicated board, staff, volunteers, partnerships and our supporting community we serve over 800 patients annually, and have been doing so since 1997.
Patients are seen by appointment by calling the office at 814-333-3932.
In addition, the Meadville Area Free Clinic manages the "Pass It On" program, a medical durable equipment recycling program. By soliciting unneeded medical devices from area households and matching the equipment with community residents in need.
We do not provide emergency care. Patients are urged to seek such care at an emergency facility.
