Every donation to Crawford Gives helps meet a child and family in a tender, uncertain moment and surrounds them with care. When a child enters a foster or adoptive home, families are often navigating a mix of hope, change, and emotion. Your generosity helps bring comfort right away through warm first meals, thoughtful welcome gifts that remind children they are loved and valued, keepsake family photos that honor new beginnings, parent resources and training, and opportunities for children to join activities that build confidence, friendships, and joyful memories.

Your gift does more than meet a practical need. It helps create moments of relief, connection, belonging, and hope when families need them most. Together, we can remind every child that they are seen, cherished, and never alone.

2025 Impact

Because of generous Crawford Gives donors in 2025, children and families received meaningful support during moments of transition, uncertainty, and celebration:

o Helped 3 foster children take part in extracurricular activities that encouraged confidence, connection, and joy.

o Provided gas cards so families could travel to court hearings and visits with birth families without the added worry of transportation costs.

o Provided family meals to 6 families to ease the stress of cooking so they could focus on settling in together.

o Celebrated 3 new adoptive families with meaningful adoption gifts, including family portrait sessions to capture the start of their forever story.

o Offered extra holiday support to 2 families, bringing comfort and encouragement during a season that can feel especially challenging.

o Supplied essential items for the emergency placement of a newborn, helping caregivers respond with care and confidence from the very beginning.

Child to Family Connections is a local nonprofit dedicated to walking alongside children, individuals, and families with compassion, care, and relationship-centered support. Since 2002, the agency has partnered with families across northwestern Pennsylvania to provide foster care, adoption, family engagement programs, and services for adults with intellectual disabilities. By recognizing each person’s strengths and honoring their story, Child to Family Connections helps create safe, stable, and nurturing environments where children and adults can feel supported, build meaningful connections, and move toward brighter futures.
