Specific Need

WXCS 92.9FM is in need of a vastly improved, updated and repaired website. Years ago, we obtained the webname wxcs.org via Domainmonger. Through time, we chose GoDaddy as our platform to park wxcs.org and as the internet evolved we were faced with maintenance that none of our volunteers knew how to do (like properly setting up the Secure Socket Layer, you know- the https://). Besides that, we can barely do a webpage. If you visit our website, you'll see the most important thing, which is a link to our streaming service so people can listen to WXCS online. In our history, we've had hometown football games reach soldiers deployed in Afghanistan and other parts of the world...in other words, our webpage is important and is in dire need of being improved, updated and repaired. We want to completely revamp wxcs.org even if it means moving away from GoDaddy...you know, start from scratch. Please help if you can.

Mission

WXCS 92.9FM... primary function is to diversify our community's culture and raise awareness of pertinent local issues. All volunteer-run, independent, noncommercial, local radio- CCRA'S function is to facilitate and administrate educational, community-oriented local radio programming through an FCC licensed LP100 radio station.

Profile

Known as a station built by musicians for musicians, WXCS 92.9FM and wxcs.org give a legitimate voice to local music from Crawford, Erie and Warren counties, as well as independent musicians from all over the world. WXCS is here to support the local community. Cambridge Springs Blue Devils high school football broadcasts continue to be the most popular and engaging service to the Cambridge Springs area over the past two decades. We are here to help better our community.
