The Northwest Pennsylvania Mobility Alliance is raising money to support the ongoing Bikeshare program in Crawford County.

Mission

The Northwest Pennsylvania Mobility Alliance is raising money to support the ongoing Bikeshare program in Crawford County and the partnerships supporting free bus passes and food insecurity programming with local agencies. NPMA is currently in its 6th year of Bikeshare and has surpassed 4,000 successful rental transactions! We currently offer bikes for rental at Ernst Trail, the Meadville YMCA, the Meadville Market House, Allegheny College, Bicentennial Park, and more Meadville locations.

Bikeshare is opening the doors to a whole new method of mobility and healthy living in the Northwest Pennsylvania region. Bikeshare adds vibrancy to rural communities and helps foster and sustain active living for people of all ages. The Bikeshare program is fully funded through local support from businesses, individuals and local fundraising efforts.

In addition to Bikeshare, NPMA raises funds to support residents of Crawford County with free bus passes on CATA fixed routes for persons of low income and persons receiving services from many of our local human service agencies. Bus passes are used to access employment, medical trips and social service needs.

Finally, NPMA has taken on the initiative to provide support to local community organizations that are addressing food insecurity and food programs for youth. NPMA has awarded funding to CATA to provide a bus to support the transportation of food assisting community organizations with weekly food distribution programming.
