Specific Need

One of our primary goals is to provide a safe space and environment for all of the people we serve. This year at the Housing Coalition we're working to make improvements at the Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing buildings. These spaces provide shelter to homeless individuals and families in our community. Your generosity will help us make critical repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and complete energy efficient upgrades on aging buildings that would not otherwise be possible. Thank you for considering a donation to help us provide a home for the homeless in Crawford County.

Over the last year, the Housing Coalition has provided Emergency Shelter services to 56 individuals. There were 8 families with 8 adults and 16 children, and 32 single adults.

Liberty House, our Transitional Housing facility provides a path to perminent housing for homeless families by connecting these guests to community supports that help them overcome their numerous barriers to housing. 

Mission

The Crawford County Coalition on Housing Needs mission is to assist the Crawford County Community in the identification and assessment of housing needs of the homeless, near homeless, and the impoverished in general for services, as well as to exchange information concerning these needs and services through programs, presentation, and/or demonstration. The Coalition also aims to identify and create awareness of available resources and to provide possible resolutions to the delivery of services and/or gaps in services.
