Cambridge Community Radio Association seeks to replace or aging broadcast mixer and hopes to raise funds to obtain a suitable replacement.
Mission
Our primary function is to diversify our community's culture and raise awareness of pertinent local issues. All volunteer-run, independent, noncommercial, local radio- CCRA'S function is to facilitate and administrate educational, community-oriented local radio programming through an FCC licensed LP100 radio station.
Profile
Known as a station built by musicians for musicians, WXCS 92.9FM gives a legitimate voice to local music from Crawford, Erie and Warren counties. Our Cambridge Springs Blue Devils high school footbal broadcasts have proven to be the most popular and engaging service to the Cambridge Springs area over the past two decades. In 2020, WXCS helped the CSHS graduation by airing the Class of 2020 prerecorded student speeches for a drive-thru graduation ceremony.
