Specific Need
At EmergyCare, we care for patients of all ages, from birth to 100+. All are important. The youngest are some of the most vulnerable.
Proceeds from Crawford Gives will be utilized to purchase Ferno pediatric restraint systems for infants. These provide a quick and efficient way to safely secure and transport young patients. EmergyCare needs 44 of these restraint systems, one for each of our ambulances. Each one cost approximately $465.00. The overall project will cost $20,460. Your support will allow us to purchase this critical piece of equipment.
Thank you for your consideration and support in making EmergyCare your chosen nonprofit during the upcoming Crawford Gives.

Profile
Founded in July 1983, EmergyCare opened its doors with a staff of 32 and 5 emergency vehicles. Today, the operations team consists of wheelchair transporters, EMTs, AEMTs, Paramedics, PHRNs, and 65 vehicles, including 39 ambulances in Corry, Erie, Titusville, Warren, and Kane, PA. The service lines that EmergyCare provides include Emergency and Non-Emergency medical transportation at the Basic / Advanced / Critical Care Life Support levels, inter-agency paramedic intercept response, paratransit (wheelchair) / medical taxi transport solutions, tactical paramedic / SWAT Team integration, and community outreach which includes educational safety programs. EmergyCare’s diversified service lines integrate with local and state healthcare organizations to play a pivotal role in providing the best prehospital-based medicine.
In response to Titusville Ambulance Service’s request for assistance, EmergyCare purchased Titusville Ambulance Service in September 2003. Since then, EmergyCare (located at 223 St. John Street, Titusville, PA) has been the primary EMS service provider for Titusville, PA. EmergyCare also serves as the primary provider for EMS services in Hydetown and Oil Creek townships. In addition, EmergyCare provides secondary coverage and paramedic intercept services for Centerville, Randolph, Rome, Sparta, Steuben, Townville, and Troy.
It is expected that the Crawford Division of EmergyCare will have 1065 patient contacts over the coming calendar year.
