Specific Need

Our need is simply to be fully funded. We are currently about 60% funded.

At only four years young, we are still a small, grassroots organization....but we have a wide reach. We share in state correctional facilities regionally and also throughout and all of PA and OH and all along the Gulf Coast. As prison chaplains invite us to minister in person we are simply in need of the revenue to be able to keep up with an increasing travel schedule.

YELOline Initiative Inc. is a prison focused outreach with a mission to use original music, stories, and scripture to share hope with the incarcerated and unseen population of our society and encourage personal and spiritual reconciliation with God and others.

The Not-So-Fun Facts

Currently there are almost 2 million inmates incarcerated in the United States.
10.6 million jail admissions happen every year
1 in 36 adults in the US (or 2.8%) were incarcerated
The rate of recidivism in the US is alarming: 44% of criminals released return before their first year out of prison
Nearly 45% of Americans have had a loved one behind bars

We believe that “There’s always hope even when all hope is lost.” We believe it so much that we put it in a song, and even made it our missions' tag line.

It’s our mission to take hope behind bars in state correctional facilities to men and women who have hit rock bottom and need encouragement, emotional and spiritual renewal, and yes….hope. We do this by using original songs, personal stories and scripture in either a live concert setting, or through professional video productions that we send in as a resource for prison chaplains and inmates to use. Often times, those videos are uploaded to their closed network cable systems.

We've been effectively doing this work for over 20 years. Over that time we've received some amazing feedback from the inmates we've been honored to serve. Here are some of their kind words:
