Specific Need

For more than 50 years, WQLN PBS NPR has been bringing learning to life for the Lake Erie region. WQLN is your passport to a larger world of discovery, exploration, lifelong learning, and an ongoing respectful exchange of ideas.

WQLN PBS NPR offers educational enrichment and engagement opportunities through community outreach. Family literacy workshops, Wash and Learn libraries, reading nooks, public forums, Our Town documentaries, WQLN Homeroom, and Covid-19 news briefings demonstrate WQLN’s commitment to keeping you informed, entertained, and safe.

WQLN PBS is home to safe, educational children's programming, followed by balanced, and objective, news coverage, and high-quality history, arts, and science-based primetime programming. WQLN's three other channels, Create, World, and the new 24/7 Kids channels, allow viewers to watch commercial-free television programming anytime during the day or night.

WQLN NPR is the region's source for daily unbiased news, classics, jazz, roots, and comedy. 91.3FM airs more original, locally-produced hours of programming than any other Erie radio station. Additionally, WQLN brings world-renowned and extraordinary local talent to you through live performances both in person and over the air.
