Mission

The Crawford County K-12 Career Education Alliance creates, funds and implements career exploration activities, career awareness events, to help students K through 12th grade make better informed decisions about their future, by identifying high priority occupations in our county, by working on hard and soft skills to become more employable, by identifying their interest and aptitude in careers, which will help our students better transition into the workplace whether they will attend college, technical schools or go directly into the workforce.  

Profile

The Crawford County K-12 Career Education Alliance falls under the auspices of the Meadville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation and serves the three school districts in Western Crawford County to provide career exploration activities for students Kindergarten through 12th grade from; Crawford Central, Penncrest and Conneaut School Districts. Events and activities include but are not limited to; Career Awareness Fair, Career Panels, Employee and HR panels, in class presentations on resume writing, interview skills, work ethic, job fairs, after school career awareness programs, career days for students on the autism spectrum, educator in the workplace, post-secondary pathways presentations, STEM Camp and Career Camp at the Crawford County Career and Technical Center.
